I've been having issues lately with my Silverado (2002 4wd 1500 LT). I've got 80k miles on the truck and just recently changed my oil.
What seems to be happening is intermittent. Maybe 2-3 times a week whenever I start up my truck it dies. I'll turn the key, the engine turns over, makes a sound like its kicking in, and dies, after about 5-6 tries it kicks in and starts up perfectly. Well I couldn't seem to figure out the problem after changing out the fuel pressure regulator so I brought it in and they can't seem to replicate the problem (and I told them unless they turn it on and off over and over again they probably wont replicate it). So they are going over random issues and trying to troubleshoot.
You have any thoughts or suggestions? Possibly issue with the internal computer? I called them up and they said its holding low pressure (They said 55-60 was good and i'm sitting at around 50-55), but they are still looking into it.
have the same problem?
