Can anyone help? I have a 1999 Chevy Silverado, and Im having some problems with my electronics for my fuel pump, I think. Here is the situation a couple months ago while I was driving down the road my truck suddenly stalled on me causing me to pull off of the side of the road. After waiting a few minutes it simply fired back up. It did this three or four times until it finally would not fire up anymore. After examining it and not hearing the fuel pump come on We determined that the ignition relay had gone out so we replaced the relay. The truck drove fine for a week or so and then it did the same thing stalled and would not fire up anymore. So I decided it needed a new fuel pump. We replaced the fuel pump in it and it drove fine for the couple months. Now Im back in the same position agqain it stalled on me on the way to work and would not fire up again. After getting it towed home we messed around with the ignition relay and replaced it with the old one that we thought was bad and the truck fired right up. Is there something that is causing my relays to blow. The truck never has under a half a tank of gas due to the expense so I know that cant be causing it, Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am officially lost on this problem.
