My Astro powersteering stopped working last night and my brake pedal is very hard to push. These two issues happened at the same time. There is fluid in the powersteering reservoir and brake fluid in the brake fluid reservoir. There are no visible leak but there is a noise in the power steering pump. Can you help?

Maybe a bad booster or power steering pump.
But first check the steering part. Is the Serpentine belt tight? Not slipping?
Will need to check pressure in the ps system if not belt problem is noticed.

Side note: Check the power brake booster inlet hose. There was a problem with them regarding noise when turning or braking. There is a revised pn 15094588 from the dealer.
