I am pretty sure I need to replace my master cylinder, it is leaking where it is attached to the booster. I do know that I have a vacuum booster however I have been to 2 Chevy dealers and neither could tell me without a doubt which brake system I have in my Suburban. It is a K20, 5.7L 350 engine, gas, 3/4 ton. It is not the master cylinder with the plastic resevoir so that narrows it down to a couple of choices. Can anyone help me figure it out? I have the parts list but even the dealers said it's not on the parts list from the glove box. So now I'm stuck. I know this is something I can do myself but I don't want to put the wrong one on. I went to Autozone and they say I can't tell by looking. I do know it has a vacuum booster because it's attached to a round metal casing. The master cylinder that is on there now is a remanufactured. The booster has a stick on it with a bar code that has letters and numbers. The letters are in big black lettering and are D S. The numbers are stamped in the metal sticker and they are 36195. If you can help please feel free. Thank you.
