I have a 04 chevy trailblazer. One morning after a storm I heard a knock in my engine. Of course it stopped but shortly after there was a squiling noise. I thought maybe the tention was off or one of the bareings may have gotten dry. I took the belt off and made a few minor adjustments put the belt back on and tightened it back up. It seemed to run fine. In didn't make a sound. Then I noticed the fan had a lot of shaking in it and was not turning with the motor or kicking in on its on. I turned the motor off took the belt back off and precieded to moved the fan by hand. The intire fan assembly including the shaft had play in it and is very loose as if a mounting bracket was broken. What does this sound like to you and how bad of damage am I facing? Is this pricy?
have the same problem?
