1999 Chevy Tracker 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 155000 miles
I have been having trouble with my breaks for about a year and no one can seem to fix the problem.
My breaks sometimes stick causing overheating and excessive fuel consumption. When this happens the break pedal becomes hard and the car may even stop by itself if I let off the gas. I have had 2 sets of calipers put on it and the brake hose changed on the right side but it still keeps doing the same thing. It was believed that the breaks needed to be bled but after about a week or so it went right back to doing the same thing. The car doesn't start off like that, it is only after you ride about a good 20 minutes before they stick. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be?
