1999 Chevy Tahoe V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic
I'm hoping you have the answers to all my questions. My tahoe died on the freeway last week. The engine turns over but won't start. I thought it might be water in the intake, so I tore the engine down to the block, replaced the head gaskets, valve stem seals, intake gaskets (the intake had a lot of build up by the way), dist. Cap and rotor. Got it back together and still nothing. I have fuel pressure, I have a spark (according to my timing light), and I double checked to make sure the dist. Is installed correctly, electrical connections are correct, fuses aren't blown, etc. I checked the little filter for the pressure regulator on the central fuel injector unit and it was clear. I don't think all 8 fuel injectors would fail at once so I doubted it was that. Any thoughts?
have the same problem?
