Electrical problem
1999 Chevy Tahoe

is there a such thing as a "reset switch" for a fuel pump? If so. Where is it? My gas gauge hasnt worked since I bought it used about 3 months ago and after running out of gas several times in the last month, im afraid ive burned out my fuel pump. Now the truck wont start and im afraid of getting screwed over again on repairs. Please help.

Welcome to the forum, there isn't a reset switch. When you turn the key on, no crank, can you hear the pump run for a few seconds. If not, check for voltage and ground at fuel pump connector. Gray wire is voltage, black wire is ground. Check with engine cranking. Use a gage and check fuel pressure. Some of the national brand autostores might loan you a fuel pressure gage.
