DVD player was blowing RSE (info) fuse. We took DVD player down - didn't really do much to it and all of the sudden it was working fine. About an hour later, we started the truck, turned on the DVD player and the DVD player smells like it "burnt up, " the radio does not work, the tack does not work, the power windows/locks, etc. Do not work - but the truck will start and run. Help please. :)

We are having some of the same problems with a 2000 Suburban, only not the DVD or radio. Ours involves the tack, speedometer, gas gauge, seatbelt warning light, bright/dim headlight warning, door locks and other stuff. A mechanic told us it was the wiring harness but he was unable to fix the problem. We now have the truck in the shop for major electrical repairs. Should be done in a few days. Will keep you posted.
