I have a 1996 Chevrolet Suburban with a 5.7 (350 ci) V8.

I replaced the fuel pump & hanger assembly after the electrical terminal on top of the fuel tank was bad. I have also replaced the fuel filter.

I now get fuel right up to the Central System Fuel Injection (CSFI) as I have fuel at the fuel pressure relief valve and I can hear the fuel pump.

The vehicle won't start. If I pour fuel into the air inlet it starts up then stalls.

What is the problem?
