I have a 1997 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 with a 5.7 liter V8. For the past year, my ABS light comes on at various times and stays on until I turn off the truck and at times that doesn't work. When the light comes on, the cruise does not work, as well as, the fan blower and electronic four-wheel drive. Just wondering if this is a ignition switch problem.
I just came across a new problem. Since the weather has gotten cold, my transmission is jumping out of overdrive at 60 mph. Could this be the powertrain control module?
