SINCE THEN THE TRUCK WILL ONLY GO ABOUT 50 MPH AND THERE IS ALOT OF SHAKING AND RATTLING NOISES UNDER THE HOOD. ANY IDEAS AS TO WHAT THIS MIGHT BE

Did the check engine light come on? Also, have you checked the catylatic converter? Many times they will plug and cause a loss of power. However, when this happens, many times they will get so hot, they will glow red. Did you notice anything like that? Finally, have you checked fuel pump pressure?

Let me know if you need directions or have other questions.
