Transmission problem
2004 Chevy Silverado Duramax 6.6 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 84000 miles

Must I add the fluid through the tiny hole where it is normally added, or is there an easier way to do so? I plan to change the fluid myself, and it seems that it will take all day to add 24 qts. Also, do you know if the 2004 Duramax 6.6 requires an internal transmission filter change? I see one on the outside of the transmission that screws on like an oil filter. Would that be the only one necessary to be changed?

Thanks in advance for your assistance, jcrich
