What could cause the brakes on my vehicle to become pressurized to the point that the vehicle will stop without applying the brake pedal? I replaced the right front caliper while doing a brake job. And after that the problem began. The brake pedal will become very stiff, and the brakes will lock up.

Try bleeding the brake system. This is going to require the use of a Tech2 scan tool to perform the automated ABS bleed procedure. All of the air must be removed from the system.
