Brakes problem
2003 Chevy Silverado V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 116000 miles

After starting my truck this morning, the ABS light and the parking brake light stay on. Also, the message " Service Brake System" is displayed. I have checked the brake fluid level and it is within range. The lights were not on when I parked the vehicle. Please advise.

Chances are there is a broken wire or bad ABS sensor at one of the wheels. Have the computer scanned to see if there are any trouble codes related to the ABS system. Most parts stores will do it for free.

Let me know what you find.
