2003 Chevy Silverado V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 29000 miles
When cleaning the inside of the windshield I bumped the headlight sensor and it became dislodged fom it's
mounting hole in the dash panel, falling down below the dash. It's protective cap rolled down into the space between the windshield and dash panel. Attempts to pull either the sensor or cap back into position have been unsuccessful, nor has the sensor been accessible from any other position. My question is: short of removing the entire dah board assembly, is there any way to reach the unit? Second, will removal of the dash panel affect or trigger the passenger air bag?
Attempts to question Chevrolet on the issue have been unsuccessful.
