2002 Chevy Silverado TRUCK WILL NOT START

MY TRUCK HAS BEEN RUNNING FINE, BUT GOT TO START IT UP AND IT DID NOT START. LIGHTS WORK, AND ALL THE WORKS FINE, JUST WILL NOT START?

Your coil could be bad. There are two wires coming from your distributer to another peice mounted to the intake. An easy way to check this is to take out the number 1 spark plug, this is the one located on the driverside closest to the front of the truck. Plug the spark plug into the plug wire and ground the plug to the block. Then have somone turn the starter so you can see if it sparks. If it does this is not your problem and you may want to check the fuel pump.
