Oh you are going to love this. According to the manual and GM if the window motor is cable driven not plastic tape then the window motor is considered a non servicable part. Meaning that you replace the window motor with the regulator. So I would call the parts store you bought from and see if they will take back the motor and sell you the assembly.

Remove the door panel. Remove the two bolts that hold the regulator to the glass. Disconnect the wiring connector to the window motor. Remove the bolts to the regulator.(About 4 bolts or so)

You will have to remove the door panel. There is no easy way to acess them without doing this operation.

You should have tested the regulator before installing it. Now you need to remove it again.

You will first have to remove the door panel be very careful that you don't break anything, there will be many hidden screw, so stay alert, once the door panel has been removed depending upon the position of your window if it's down or up, you will have to unbolt window frame from the regulator, take it all the way to the top and use some duct tape to hold it in place, you will then locate the bolts that are holding the regulator in remove them bolts and the regulators should come out, keep in mind that there may be rivets also, you will have to drill them out, just make sure you use a small punch and nock the center out before grilling.
