How do you reset the message center after an oil change so that it doesn't keep telling you "change engine oil soon"?
Do you
have the same problem?

Hello,

Turn the key on without starting the engine. Press gas pedal to the floor five times within 10 seconds. Then shut the key off and you are all set. Start the vehicle, you may need to do this a few times if it doesn't work the first time.

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers, Ken

Try resetting anti theft. Then check battery for condition including load test.

Turn ignition ON, with engine off.
Fully press and release the accelerator pedal slowly 3 times within five seconds. If the CHANGE ENGINE OIL message flashes, the system is reset.
However, if message stays on, it did not reset. Repeat the procedure.
Turn ignition OFF.
If CHANGE ENGINE OIL message comes back on when engine is started, repeat reset procedure.

My vehicle is equipped with an after market radio. What is the correct way to reset your oil life? Cannot seem to find the reset button for this. Or the book states " select button ", is it located on the original radio?
