Heater problem
1999 Chevy Silverado V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 196, 00 miles

when you look at the hoses that connect to where the heating core is, the one on the right hand side has come off. (Lookes like it was sliced off right where the yellowish orange connector is) can the hose be replaced back on the conector or do we need a new heating core with it?

Hello and thanks for donating!

You can simply replace the heater hose if the hose is all that has been damaged. No need to replace the entire heater core.
