Engine Performance problem
1991 Chevy Silverado V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 220900 miles
5.7L 350. I ran it on synthetic since I had it(3 years 10W 30). I replaced the knock sensor and the CPU because my truck lopped during acceleration, it sounded like it had a larger cam. Timing was fine, and so I replaced the head gaskets and checked the heads, they were fine and my rings and all. Replaced the fuel filter. Put it all back together, and it ran like new. Yesterday I changed the oil and flushed the radiator and put on a new 16psi cap. Now the lope is back. Not nearly as bad but just when I first accelerate. But the performance is still there.
have the same problem?
