I have replaced the master cylider I had pressure for a short period maybe 50 miles they gradually became spungy and now have spungy breaks no pressure. I think I need to bleed the brakes. The fitting are old and rusty. I need to know how to bleed them. I have never done it before.

If you can get the bleeders open, fill the master, have a helper pump the pedal a few times and open the bleeder, keep the pedal down while the bleeder is open, close bleeder, repeat until all air is gone, bleed sequence is RR, LR, RF, LF. Dont let the master run out while doing this. Use DOT 3 brake fluid only. Did you bench bleed the master to start?
