For the last two days my 2000 chevy s-10 has died on me while traveling on the highway at high speeds. It is a 4 cylinder automatic with 146k miles, most of which are highway miles. The truck will run fine in the early mornings but has just stopped dead during the afternoons. Somethings of note: the ave. Temp in the afternoons has ranged about high 90's, the truck will crank immediately after stopping and parking, however, it will only travel a short distance before it dies again, and finally, the engine doesn't always sputter and die, mostly it just quits. I am at a loss, and most of my shade tree friends are as well. Any help would be appreciated.
have the same problem?
