Charging System Problem

Chevy S-10 Pickup, 1998, 98000, 4 cyl - When I start my truck the Charge Gauge shows no alternator output, and a few seconds later the Battery Charge Light comes on. A few days ago, I charged the Battery with the battery charger and when I started the truck it worked normally, for about a day. The battery is good, could the problem be either the voltage regulator or with the alternator?

Of course. It's probably the alternator, usually if the regulator goes back it will over charge. Change the alt. And that will probably solve your problem.
