1999 Chevy S-10 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 106000 miles
(Manual temp control) Heater blows cool/cold air. The air redirects between floor, dash and defrost vents when selected. A/C operates and blows cold air. You can feel a difference in air flow when you select between cold and hot on the temp control. I do not find a heater control valve under the hood. Some cars have this in-line in a heater hose and would control the flow of engine coolant to the heater core. With the engine up to operating temperature, temp control set to hot, the heater hoses are not hot as they should be if coolant was flowing through them. I did not find this unit on the S10. Does my S10 have a heater control valve? And if so, where is it located?
have the same problem?
