I haven't had any problems with the vehicle that hasn't been an easy fix so I'm wondering what else to do. I put new breaks on the the truck over the weekend and just a few days after it the battery light came on and the volts dropped and continued to drop. It has yet to not start but I know it is coming. I replaced the battery today and nothing changed. I am thinking that it is the alternator but would like an opinion about it before I can and spend the money to replace. Is there a way to test the alternator before I replace it or could there be something else that could be wrong? I checked the belt and it does not seem to be loose or cracking.
