1997 Chevy S-10 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 145000 miles
I recently had my brake booster replaced and have noticed some drag on the power. In first gear the pickup crawls forward until about 2000 rpm's then it starts to take off as normal. Usually noticeable in the higher gears 4th or 5th if I push the gas the rpm jump up and it gets kicked out of gear. I can keep it in gear if I slowly ease the gas and let the rpm flare then it stabilizes. It only happens on occasion in 2nd or 3rd gear. Any ideas what may be going on or where I should look. Thanks in advance
have the same problem?
