Electrical problem
1997 Chevy S-10 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

I have changed the alternator and battery in the truck but the voltage on the gage on the dash says i'm only getting about 11 volts. So what else can be causing my lose in voltage. Thanks
Do you

Welcome to the forum, I'd use a digital multimeter across the battery posts, key and everything off. A fulley charged battery is around 12.6 volts. Start the vehicle, take a second reading across the battery posts, the second reading should be higher than the first, if the charging system is working. I'd also take a reading at the alternator bat terminal, key off is battery voltage, engine running, voltage is higher. There could be a problem with the wiring circuit to or from the alternator.
