Engine Cooling problem
1996 Chevy S-10 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 113000 miles
I have a ’96 chevy s-10 L4 2wd 5speed manual that has been overheating, I mean really red lineing. I’v changed the water pump, I know that was bad because water was coming right out of it. I’v changed the thermostat and flushed it with that prestone super flush. Still overheating.I get bubbles in the resavore tank and the dexcool looks more brown then orange. The hose going to the thermostat you cant even touch but the one at the bottem of the radiator you can hold your hand on for ever, if that means any thing.
One guy, not a mech, suggested the fan clutch. I don’t know I’v never dealt with one of those before.
Any help would be thankful.
have the same problem?
