Air Conditioning problem
1996 Chevy S-10 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

Standard compressor and related items replaced after catostrophic failure of compressor(orifice tube, condensor, accumulator, comp.) All flushed clean! Also replaced one high side hard line due to junction failure. Have replaced compressor twice and still have same problem. System does not pull down on high side below 50 lbs. High side does not go above 140lbs. This is a simple GM repair and it has me stumped!
Thanks, 3W

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation,

My main concern is that there is still debris with in the system, personally I am not a big fan of flushing A/C units after a major failure that has contaminated the system, I have seen flushed systems given the ok, with problems, and after cutting open the condenser still finding particles in the tubes and part blocking the TX valve.
