I have a 1990 chev corsica with a 3.1 liter engine. It runs ok, but it will not run very well with this sensor plugged in. Its a 4 prong wire that lead to the top of the transaxle near the flywheel. When plugged in it sputters at red lights or will die when coming to a sudden stop. When I unplug it, the car idles ok, doesnt die, but still sucks down gas and idles a little high. I have already replaced the computer, AIC, Map sensor, and all vacuum lines. This helped tremendously. I just dont know what that darned senor on the tranny is called. Any ideas?
have the same problem?
