Transmission problem
1998 Chevy Monte Carlo 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 72k miles

Hello, I recently bought some Ultra Rims and when I went to put the lug nuts on I found out the stud was a 1/4" too short to were I felt it would be dangerous driving with. I was wondering what kind of Lug nuts I should put onto them that would work? I have heard that ET lugs will work, but again I dont know what exact size I need.

My lug nut size is 4 3/4". The rims I have are the multi lug 4 1/2" and 4 3/4". I will give you a picture to show you the rims. I would really like to put these rims on my car and any help would be appreiated. I can also not put longer studs on.

Hi:
Because they are aftermarket wheels, I can't tell you for sure. I'm sure any tire shop that sells wheels will be able to help you.
