I have a 1995 chevy lumina with no brake lights. The 3rd brake light works but the outside (main) lights do not. I saw a post in here about it but couldn't tell what was reccommended to fix it and if it was successfull. The headlights and turn signals work. 1995 chevy lumina 4 door 3.1 V6 135,000 miles. So far all wiring looks good. I replaced brake switch and also ran a jumper across the plug that goes to the switch. Lights still don't work. Any ideas? Thanks.

The problem is in the turnsignal switch. The lower lights run through the switch and the highmount does not. To fix your problem replace the turnsignal switch assembly. Hope this helps.
