I have a 1993 chevy lumina euro. I just put in a brand new battery. Since then it had like what I call "power surges" where like the lights would go brighter then dimmer then brighter then dimmer. Also the a/c would blow harder then softer etc etc. When starting the car the rpm's would shoot up over 2 like I was revving the engine even though I wasn't. When driving you could feel it like pull forward then back, like surges. Weird. The rpms would move too. Well today, I went to start it and mid start it clicked and everything, EVERYTHING shut off. There is no power to my car at all. No lights, no power locks or windows, no clicking, no humming, no grunting. Nothing at all. I don't have much money and I know nothing about cars so I was wondering what this might mean. Is it a connection? Is it the alternator? Is a spark plug? I have no idea what could cause something like this to happen wiht a battery I purcheased a couple weeks ago. Please help ASAP
