What would cause a transmission to start to rev or slip in drive when the temp gets to 200 or more. Temp stays at 180 & 190 most of the time, then no reason temp gose up to 200 to 210.I can shut it off for about 2 min, start it & it runs fine, temp back down to 180 or 190 & gose through the gears fine. Could it be a sensor or something?

Are you at idle when the temp jumps? If so, I would check your lower manifold gasket. If not, then its as simple as a sticky thermostat. Transmission slip is a whole other ball of wax. Fix the heating issue first, then we'll go from there.
I could be wrong about the manifold gasket, I went thru a ton of things before I fixed my heating issue, never did really pinpoint what was causing it.
