Our shop burnt so I don't have a timing light. So I set the timing to start then made series of stops and gos to try to get timing close. If I get it set to start good. It feels as though it floats the valves and stops, but when I get it to run right it pings its but off.

im going to replace the knock sensor for sure, and have new o2 sensors now, but I also found when I adjusted the timing it has a very weak spark. One of the wires came off while trying to move distributer. What do you do to test these coils. Im planning on going to a high output coil anyway. But id love to know which wires to check and what reading.

thank you.

That would be a good start for weak spark, but I would stick with OEM
