2006 Chevy Impala 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

HOW DO I FIX THIS PROBLEM. MY CAR FOR SOME REASON KINDA LOST A LIL POWER. IT DOESNT TAKE OFF LIKE IT SHOULD. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND WENT OFF, NEVA CAME BACK ON. I TOOK IT TO A MECH. HE READ IT ON THE CPU AND THE THROTTLE PEDAL POSITION SENSOR IS WHAT POP'D UP. WHAT DO I DO. DOES MY THROTTLE BODY HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS? THIS IS WHAT 1 PERSON HAS TOLD ME

SO IF I CHANGE THE THROTTLE BODY IS THERE A NEED TO CHANGE THE TPS?
