Six cylinder two wheel drive automatic 125,000 miles.

I have one bright and one dim headlight. I have checked the ground which is for both headlights and they have the same resistance at the connectors the lamps seem fine. What is next?

I think what is happening is voltage drop do to a common ground not at light but for dimmer and relay.
So check G 202 on the left side of brake pedal bracket. Make sure it is clean and tight.

I went under the dash to look for a ground on the left side of the brake pedal but cannot find any. Here is some extra information: At the headlamp on the right side I have twelve volts at connector pin F and H which are battery positive voltage, on the left at pin H the battery positive voltage. I have nothing but lights still come on dim instead of not at all. This car does DRL pin F on the left connector, if this helps
both grounds read no voltage connector to body bolt ground.

Found a ground that has two wires attached to one terminal near the brake pedal bracket, but after cleaning and tighten no change.

Well the production date is 10-01. It will not matter because the DRL/EXT LTS fuse was blown lights. Seem fine now.

Thanks for points.

Still helping in 2016. Thanks Doc Fixit. Described my problem to a "T" on my 2001 Impala. After replacing my headlights both old and new did not work. One side dim one side not. It was the DRL/EXT LTS 15 amp fuse. Thanks again.

Thanks for the information, it was spot on. Replaced the headlight "socket" which was heat discolored and the DRL/EXT LTS 15 amp fuse and the problem was solved (2005 Impala).
