Hi i'm trying to figure out why my car moves in reverse and not drive? And only in reverse will it move

Well as long as your linkage is not way out of adjustment, it sounds to me that your tranny has quit on you. The estimated life of an auto tranny is about 100,000 miles. If you pull the pan and find a small spring clip laying there on the magnet your trans needs to be replaced or rebuilt. If you need instructions on how to rebuild it let me know.
