I have a 96 corsica with 269,000 miles it has had a slight shake when you applie the brakes above 40 mph and it goes away below 40 mph for some time now I had the brakes and rotors replaced 6 months ago that didn't work I had the brakes bleed and that didn't work they said my ABS is working correctly. Any ideas as to what would cause this this shake is in the steering the wheel shake ever so slightly it feels like a warped rotor but they say the new ones were true it only happens when brakes applied above 40 mph and stops when you get below 40 mph

Anyone check the ball joints? Where is the shake? Front, or brake pedal, or steering wheel? Or is it more the center of the car?
