  • 1993 Chevrolet Corsica

I have a 1993 Chevy Corsica with 98,000 miles and it's a 6 cylinder. My car stalls if it even gets a little bit hot (right over the first line) and then I have to let it sit for over an hour before I can restart it. I took it to a repair shop and they don't know what's wrong with it but replaced the temp sensor. My car also surges when I go too slow.

Do you
have the same problem?

What engine is it 2.2 or 3.1L

When it stalls give it about 10secs. Then turn key to On, do you hear a relay click and the fuel pump come On?

You might want to remove the idle air control valve and clean it, Also the EGR, and look for an exhaust backpressure being cause by the catalytic converter-then come back we still got a long way am not even 1/4 of it.
