I have a 1995 chevrolet c2500 pickup. I wired a trailer recently and once done, turn signal no longer works on truck. Hazards work on truck and trailer, lights and brake and reverse on truck but no turn signal. I replaced the flasher but no luck. Flasher does not even click! I checked fuses I think.

It could be defective flasher here is its location to make sure you are changing the right one also here are the blinker wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works as well.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

I tried 3 different new turn signal flashers, hazards work fine. Note that when I say I wired a trailer, the truck already had a four prong trailer plug on it so I did not wire the truck, just wired trailer lights on a trailer and connected 4 prong to the truck existing 4 prong.

I disconnected trailer wiring and fuses seem good. Again, hazards work, reverse and brake lights work. If I press down hard on hazard light button and hold, turn signal flasher clicks! And not sure why since there is a seperate hazard flasher and turn signal flasher

Check for voltage coming into turn signal switch purple wire(12volt), if ok activate turn signal, looking for voltage coming out of turn signal switch on either light blue or yellow (left signal). Or dark green/dark blue(right signal). If you have voltage on purple wire and nothing coming out on the mentioned wires, suspect turn sig. Switch

Check your fuses in the ip panel like #7 for the power outlets and also maxi fuse 7 for the wiper and power outlet in the underhood fuse box. There is also a circuit breaker or should be in teh ip fuse box for the power outlet. Check fuse 16 in ip box for turn signals then try replacing the flasher behind the centrof the i/p Also ther eis a stoplamp relay underhood l/r center of engine. Check all your grounds on ip to make sure they are tight and clean. Same thing with engine and body grounds.

My left side rear turn signal and brake light are not working. When I try to use the signal, the inside arrow blinks very fast. The front left turn signal works fine. We changed the bulb and the fuse is fine.

Did that. Took the "circuit board" (?) From the other side and tried it on that side and it worked fine so tomorrow I'm going to replace the one on the side that isn't working. Thanks for your help.
