Engine Cooling problem
1997 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 90,500 miles
I had just gotten my car back from the shop, and I noticed that it was slightly overheating. My car has never gone past the half-way mark. Ever! So I was pretty confused. I decided that it would be best to just drive it home and not drive it until it had completely cooled down, but on my drive home it began to overheat even more! And at one point even reached the orange! So I pilled over and shut my engine off and let it cool down, I ended up having to get it towed to the shop, and the guy said that he thought that it was prob. My water pump. How much am I looking at, in terms of a new pump and labor work? A ball park number would be better than nothing. Thanks!
