Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Valve In transaxle valve body-you have to drop the tranny pan to get to it-

Once the pan is off it is mounted on the side of the valve body

Ive got a 96' cavalier that I think has a trans problem or a torque converter problem. When the engine is cold it will engage into gear and drive both in drive and reverse. But when the operating temp comes up then I have no movement what so ever. This happened without warning. Could the transmission go so fast that it would take out both the forward and reverse gears? Or is the torque converter fried? Or by some miricle is this an electrical issue? I also have a troulbe light but I dont have a scanner. How can I check the code without a scanner? The light may or may not be related to the trans problem

Have the vehicle scanned for the trouble code. Do you know if the trans is full of fluid
