I own a 1995 cavalier that is going through about a half a gallon of coolant per day. I can't see where it is going. There has not been anything on the ground. However the last couple of days the car has been hard to start. Today I noticed water dripping from the front of the muffler. I am assuming that the coolant is going out the tail pipe. My first thought is that the head gasket is blown.

Am I headed in the right direction or could there be something else I am missing? Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks
