1979 Z28 Camaro Help

Alrighty sorry to take so long to reply, I finally got it running and then decided to change my Carb. Now I prepared the carb and my Brother took off the Old Carb Before I got a chance to mark or even memorize anything. Now i've got a problem small but yet it hinders me. I've installed all the vacumm hoses but now my throttle bracket I can not seem to make it fit. Would it be my Carb or am I overlooking something, I will have pictures soon but I need some pictures of how this thing bolts on as I am stupid and when you all start saying all these names I have no clue. I am only a beginner and trying. Again I have installed the Carb after like 2 Hours and now without even seeing it before my Dumb@$$ brother took it off I have managed to successfully hook up everything else but my Throttle Cable and Bracket. Does it mount to the intake manifold or Carb or both or what. Please someone help me.
