LEAKING INTAKE GASKET IN BLAZER

I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer with 96K miles on it. I have had relatively few problems with it. Last week I had to get a new alternator and was told that my intake gasket was leaking coolant. They said it was not leaking coolant into the engine yet. If I have not had any problems with the engine overheating to this point, do you think replacing the intake gasket and coolant will fix the problem?

Yes, coolant leaks get costly when your engine overheats due to coolant loss
