Engine Performance problem
1993 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 170000 miles
I have 93 S10 Blazer 4.3 Vin.W C.P.I. Injection 4x4. Bad mpg at around 12 mpg both highway and city. Have changed fuel pump, sender unit, Plugs, wires, rotor, cap, ignition coil, cold air intake, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator twice, pvc valve, no washing in intake plenum or fuel smell at all anymore, brand new exhaust muffler and tailpipe original cat, fuel pressure at prime is 60psi, 57 or so when idle, leak down test is good holds at 57 psi for more than 10 min. Could the single injector in the spider assenbly be bad? Is there a way to replace just the injector, or the whole spider assembly for around $300. Ive been reading average mpg on same model is around 16 to 18 mpg. Thanks for the help.I only get around 200 mpg per tank, with tires at 34psi 17inch. Also theres no vaccume leakes rither reads good in the green part on the gauge
have the same problem?
