my son has a 96 chevy beretta that has a "service engine soon light" that i'd like to reset. he's too lazy to go buy a chiltons manual, and i'm too smart to buy it for him since he'll never use it. could you fella's help an old shade tree mechanic out and tell me how to reset it please?....Jack

Since you got check engine light on, I would go to youre local autozone and have them scan, The trouble code, Once you replace the broken sensor, Should correct the problem.
