Engine Mechanical problem
2005 Chevy Avalanche V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 108500 miles

108500. My oil pressure gauge is reading very high. My car is not running hot. I found some liquid underneath the car this morning and it is a honey color and not very thick. I checked the oil stuck and it shows oil although that color is more of a brown as compared to what I found on the ground. I put two quarts of oil into the car and the pressure gauge did go back down some but not to normal.

what could it be?

Why did you put 2 quarts of oil in--was it 2 quarts low? Fresh oil and differential lube is honey in color. Check for oil leaks and/or differential leaks.
